Accreditation Fees to be Applied to Show Cause evaluations starting 2012-2013 Accreditation Cycle (13.11.2010)

The same accreditation fees for interim evaluations will be applied to Show Cause evaluations starting 2012-2013 accreditation cycle.


Accreditation Fees for 2011-2012 Evaluation Cycle Determined (13.11.2010)

Accreditation fees for the 2011-2012 accreditation cycle are determined by MÜDEK Executive Board as follows.

  • For each institution 5.250TL + VAT
  • For each program (separately for normal and second education programs)
    • For general evaluations and interim evaluations with visits 5.250TL + VAT
    • For interim evaluation with reports only 2.100TL + VAT

Erbil Payzın, past chair of MAK, will be attending the Glossary Group meeting to be held in Brussels, Belgium on October 26, 2010 as a representative of ENAEE. The Glossary Group has been formed (as an action of Eugene Project) as a first step of the interrelationship between ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) of which MÜDEK is a member and IEA (International Engineering Alliance) of which MÜDEK is a provisional signatory.

MÜDEK workshop for administrators and faculty of those engineering programs intending to apply for MÜDEK evaluation or planning to make  improvements in their programs according to MÜDEK criteria will be held in Ankara on April 17, 2010 (Saturday). The registration application is closed. 


New Version of MÜDEK Directive on Policies and Procedures for Evaluation and Accreditation Published (28.03.2010)

The new version (1.2) of MÜDEK Directive on Policies and Procedures for Evaluation and Accreditation formed by amended article 4 Programs Eligible for Application for Accreditation and their Relevant Institutions by the MÜDEK Executive Board meeting held on March 26, 2010 is published.  As a result of this amendment, (i) engineering programs administrated by the faculties that are not covered by by the Engineering Deans Council (MDK) may now apply for accreditation evaluation, accreditation applications are limited to those programs recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), and the application of evaluation without any accreditation action is discontinued; (ii) the accreditation applications of second education programs are synchronized with the applications of associated normal education programs.


New Version of MÜDEK Operational Regulations Published (28.03.2010)

The new version (1.1) of MÜDEK Operational Regulations formed by amended article 4.1 Duties, Powers, and Responsibilities of MAK at the MÜDEK General Assembly held on March 20, 2010 is published. As a result of this amendment, MAK will be able to conduct the accreditations of engineering programs administrated by faculties that are not covered by the Engineering Deans Council (MDK).

Midterm Conference of EUR-ACE SPREAD Project in Istanbul (26.01.2010)

The midterm conference of EUR-ACE SPREAD project will be held in Istanbul on March 01, 2010. MÜDEK is a partner of the project which is funded by the European Commission DG Education and Culture. The participation to the meeting is free of charge with a wide audience, however limited to 120 participants. Further information on the meeting and participation application are given in the call for participation.


MÜDEK Workshop (25.01.2010)

MÜDEK workshop for administrators and faculty of those engineering programs intending to apply for MÜDEK evaluation or planning to make  improvements in their programs according to MÜDEK criteria will be held in at Eastern Mediterranean University in Famagusta on January 30, 2010 (Saturday). The workshop is organized upon the invitation of TRNC YÖDAK (Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation, and Coordination Council) and participation will be limited to administrators and faculty members of the universities in the TRNC.
