National Health Sciences Congress organized by the Health Sciences Faculty of Hacettepe University and SABAK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Health Sciences Programs) at Hacettepe University on November 24-25, 2016, as invited speakers. A. Bülent Özgüler will deliver a presentation titled Outcome Based Accreditation and Bülent E. Platin will deliver a presentation titled Preparation of Discipline Specific Criteria both on November 25, 2016.

A MÜDEK Delegation composed of Ramazan Yıldırım, Chair of MÜDEK Executive Board, Birgül Tantekin-Ersolmaz, member of MÜDEK Advisory Board, and M. Yavuz Erçil, MÜDEK Secretary General, will be participating in Celebration Event of the 10th Anniversary of ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) to be held in Rome, Italy, on November 21-22, 2016. During this event,
- Ramazan Yıldırım will deliver a presentation titled Impact of EUR-ACE on the Quality Assurance Systems: A Testimony by MÜDEK in the session of 10 Years of Trust Building on November 21, 2016;
- Birgül Tantekin-Ersolmaz will attend the ENAEE AC (Administrative Council) meeting on November 21, 2016;
- M. Yavuz Erçil will attend the ENAEE General Assembly meeting as permanent representative of MÜDEK on November 22, 2016.
Washington Accord Delegation Visited MÜDEK and Participated in MÜDEK Institutional Visits (posted on 16.11.2016)
A Washington Accord (WA) delegation composed of Elizabeth Taylor (Australia), Megat Johari Megat Mohd Noor (Malaysia), and Khiang Wee Lim (Singapore) visited MÜDEK on October 18-25, 2016, in the scope of periodic 6-year reviewing MÜDEK's signatory status. During this visit, the WA delegation
- got together with members of MÜDEK Executive Board and members of MAK in a introduction and information gathering meeting and
- joined MÜDEK review teams of two separate MÜDEK institutional visits as "observers".

Timur Doğu Appointed as the Chair of ENAEE EUR-ACE Label Committee (posted on 23.06.2016)
Timur Doğu, MÜDEK member and Past Chair of MÜDEK-MAK, is elected as the Chair of the EUR-ACE Label Committee of ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) by the Committee members among two candidates and this election is approved by the ENAEE-AC (Administrative Council) in its meetingon June 21, 2016. Timur Doğu will take chair position immediately and his term will last until 2020.
EUR-ACE Label Committee authorizes agencies accrediting engineering education programs to issue EUR-ACE Label and is formed by the representatives of 13 agencies authorized to issue such a label. The Committee is also responsible to concert the consistency between agencies authorized to issue EUR-ACE Label.
Congratulations to Timur Doğu for his success, which is an honor for MÜDEK and for the higher education of our country. Wishing him the best in his chairmanship term.
