New Version of Program Evaluator Report Published (21.07.2009)

Version 2.0 of the Program Evaluator Report is published upon its acceptance by the Executive Board of MÜDEK on July 17, 2009. This new version of the report will be used for those programs whose accreditations will be carried out according to new MÜDEK Evaluation Criteria which are in effect starting 2009-2010 evaluation cycle.

Conditions on Awarding EUR-ACE Label by MÜDEK Determined (11.02.2009)

EUR-ACE Label will be awarded to those programs evaluated by MÜDEK and accredited by one of the NGR, IR, IV, RE, VE, SC actions starting 2009. The durations of such labels will match to the accreditation durations of respective programs.

In this meeting, Draft Report on Higher Education Qualifications Framework of Turkey will be presented to constituents, opened for discussion and their opinions will be gathered.

Erbil Payzın Elected as the Administrative Council Member of ENAEE (23.01.2009)

Erbil Payzın, past chair of MAK, is elected as Administrative Council member of ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) in its General Assembly meeting held in Brussels on January 22, 2009. MÜDEK is a member of ENAEE.

MÜDEK Authorized to Award EUR-ACE Label (23.01.2009)

The decision made by ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) Administrative Council to authorize MÜDEK to award EUR-ACE Label at its meeting held on January 21, 2009, was made public at ENAEE General Assembly held on January 22, 2009.

MÜDEK is the 7th agency authorized by ENAEE to award EUR-ACE Label.

The conditions on ENAEE authorization given by ENAEE to award EUR-ACE Label are as follows:

• Valid for full duration of 5 years.
• Valid for the accreditation of undergraduate (FC - first cycle) programs.
• Valid for programs accredited by MÜDEK after January 21, 2009.
