The first presentation of this session chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erbil Payzın is made by Prof. Dr. Bülent E. Platin with the title of Short History: Dreams and Accomplishments. Founding activities of MÜDEK in early 2000's are covered in the first part of the presentation. In the second part, dreams formed by the MÜDEK evaluation experiences starting in 2003 are presented and their realizations through the developments up to now are presented. (Presentation)

The second presentation of this session is delivered by Prof. Dr. Timur Doğu with the title of Added Value of MÜDEK. Dimensions like contributions of MÜDEK to continuous improvement efforts of programs, their international recognition, and gains of constituents (students and their families, higher education institutions, program graduates, and employers) are emphasized. Session 2 - Lessons Learned from Evaluation Visits

The only presentation of this session chaired by Prof. Dr. Bülent E. Platin is made by Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Erbil Payzın with the title of Important Points in Evaluations. Dimensions like difficulties encountered in interpreting evaluation criteria, key points regarding the evaluation process, difficulties encountered in report writing are emphasized.

Session 3 - Program Evaluation Applications

The first presentation of this session chaired Prof. Dr. Mehmet Demirkol is made by Prof. Dr. Birgül Tantekin-Ersolmaz with the title of The Use of Evaluators in Other Countries. In the presentation, applications like selection of evaluators, training and updating evaluators, criteria to become a team chair, training team chairs in various accreditation agencies in other countries are covered and information on the studies being underway in MÜDEK regarding this area is given. The second presentation of this session is delivered by Prof. Dr. A. Bülent Özgüler with the title of MÜDEK and ve Relative Organizations. In this presentation, relationship of MÜDEK with YÖK (Higher Education Council of Turkey), MYK (Professional Proficiencies Board of Turkey), ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education), EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education), IEA (International Engineering Alliance), TMMOB (The Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects), KALDER (Turkish Quality Association), and other organizations and MÜDEK's agenda in this area are introduced. Session 4 - Intra-Team Communication During Visits

In this session chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Erbil Payzın, a panel composed by Prof. Dr. Bülent E. Platin, Prof. Dr. Timur Doğu, and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Demirkol discussed the topic of Crisis Management in Team During Visits by presenting several scenarios; views and suggestions are taken from participants.
