MÜDEK is seeking for evaluator candidates to conduct accreditation evaluation according to MÜDEK Evaluation
Criteria, both from academia and industry/business.
According to MÜDEK Operational Regulations, those evaluator candidates
- from academia must have experience in assessment, continuous
improvement, and preparation for accreditation of engineering programs at
national and/or international level,
- from industry/business world must have experience in at least
one of the following areas: Engineering education, engineering
management, and quality processes.
Applications made in the following engineering disciplines will have a priority this year:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Electrical-Electronics Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Civil Engineering
All applications should be made to ercil@mudek.org.tr address until July 31, 2012, together with a curriculum vitae
containing the experiences in the fields referred above.
Applications will be screened according to relevant experiences. Among the applicants satisfying experience
criteria, those who are in priority areas will be invited to the evaluator trainings as evaluator candidates on a
quota basis and then will serve as evaluator in evaluation teams. Others will be placed in an evaluator candidate pool
and will be invited to the evaluator trainings in coming years according to the evaluator needs of engineering
disciplines.
MÜDEK evaluators conduct their evaluations on voluntary basis; that is, they do not get any compensation or honorarium for their service.
However, all the expenses that are related to their accreditation activities are covered by MÜDEK.
