MÜDEK is a full member of ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education). MÜDEK is authorized by ENAEE to award EUR-ACE Label. MÜDEK is a Washington Accord Signatory of International Engineering Alliance.

A. MACİT ÖZENBAŞ Türkçe A. Macit Özenbaş graduated from the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Middle East Technical University in 1973 with B.Sc. degree. He received his M.Sc. and PhD degree in 1975 and 1981, respectively, from the same department. He has been working as a faculty in the same department since 1978 and he served as vice chair between 1982-1985. He spent his sabbatical leaves at Max-Planck Institute in Stuttgart, Germany in 1985-1987 and at the Materials Research Institute, Princeton University, USA in 1997-1999 as visiting scholar. He chaired METU Micro and Nanotechnology Program from 2006 to 2008. He served as a METU Senate member between 2010 and 2013 and as METU Central Laboratory Director between 2015 and 2018. He coauthored over 50 research articles (SCI) in electrical, optical and magnetic properties of materials, production and characterization of thin films, inorganic/perovskite solar cells, ferroelectric/piezoelectric/thermoelectric/multiferroic materials areas. Given the first one in 1996, he worked actively in the departmental commissions during the four ABET evaluation periods. He has been serving as a program evaluator in several MÜDEK evaluation teams since 2006.
