Aykut Alp Yılmaz received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering Department at Middle East Technical University and Masters in Management at Istanbul University.
Currently, he is studying in Sociology Department at Istanbul University.
He started his professional career in Kordsa within Sabancı Holding in 1986. During his career in Kordsa, he took responsibilities in various departments such as Design, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Management.
Between the years of 2004 and 2011, he led Shared Services Systems Development department of Sabancı Automotive and Tire Group including Kordsa Global, Brisa, Toyotosa, Temsa, Bekaert, Enerjisa, Sakosa.
He holds Six Sigma Black Belt since 2006. Between the years of 2006 and 2010, he coordinated Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma department of Kordsa Global.
He has been a member of KalDer (Turkish Society for Quality) since 1997. For 13 years, he had worked as a Turkish Excellence Awards Assessor. From 2010 to 2015, he was an active member of Turkish Excellence Awards Executive Committee.
In 2013, he founded his own management consultancy firm, Aykutalp. Corporate Culture, Strategic Planning, Process Management, Excellence Model are the topics of his expertise.
In 2013, he joined MAK (Engineering Programs Accreditation Board). Currently, he is the chair of Quality Assurance Committee.
