Graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University in 1996. He worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Arcelik Motor and Pump Plant between 1997-2001, as a Quality Systems Engineer at Arçelik Head Office between 2001-2003, as a 6 Sigma Leader at Arçelik Purchasing Directorate between 2003-2008, as a Strategic Planning and Corporate Performance Manager at Koç Zer AŞ between 2008-2013, as a Strategic Planning, Purchasing, Management Systems and ERP Projects Director at İlbak AS between 2013-2018. He has been working as a management consultant since February 2018 and he is also a Strategic Planning and Business Development manager in Kalder. He has high level competences in the following categories: Corporate development and transformation program management; Strategic planning, analysis and reporting; ERP transformation project management; 6 sigma deployment and project portfolio management (black belt); Process, knowledge and project management; Strategic purchasing and supply management; Cost analysis and cost improvement. Ömer Akif Yenigün has two children and speaks Turkish and English.
