Cüneyt Güzeliş received BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in electronics and communication engineering from the İstanbul Technical University (İTU), in 1981, 1984, and 1988, respectively. He worked at the department of electronics and communication engineering of İTU as an assist. prof. in 1991-1993, assoc. prof. in 1993-1998, and prof. in 1998-2000. He also worked in 2000-2011 at Dokuz Eylül University (DEU), in 2011-2015 at İzmir University of Economics. He has been working in Yaşar University (YU) as an academic staff and Director of Graduate School since 2015. When he was working as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at DEU, 3 undergraduate programs of the Faculty applied for MÜDEK accreditation in 2004, so then the program accreditation process of the Faculty started. He had served as a member of the Executive Board of the Engineering Deans Council between 2003 and 2008. He has been continuing his duties and memberships, as a MÜDEK Program Evaluator since 2009, a member of the MÜDEK Association since 2015, a MÜDEK Team Chair/Co-Chair since 2017, and a member of the MÜDEK Consistency Control Committee since 2019.
