He received B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1980 and M.S. degree in 1983 from Middle East Technical University. He had worked as student assistant and research assistant in the same department until 1983. He received Bachelor of Business Administration degree Eskisehir Anadolu University in 1994. He had worked between 1983 and 1986 in GÜRİŞ Machinery Production and Erection Corp. and between 1986 and 1988 in Tusaş Aerospace Industries as design engineer. He had worked as engineering manager in IŞIK Machinery Production and Marketing Corp. between 1988 and 1995. He has been engineering director of GAMA İndustrial Plant Manufacturing and Erection Corp. since 1995, meanwhile he had worked as part-time instructor in Atılım University Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Departments for Machine Elements and Theory of Machines courses between 2008 and 2017. He has been contributing to MÜDEK since 2009 as program evaluator.
