Graduated from Boğaziçi University, Mechanical Engineering Department in 1990. She got her MS degree from Portland State University, Engineering Management Program. She had started to work as R&D Engineer at Arçelik R&D Center to her career as R&D Specialist. Between 2003 and 2013, she worked as R&D System Development Manager with responsibilities on project management, R&D management, technology planning and innovation. Between 2014-2016, she assigned to Innovation Directorate as Innovation Process and System Development Manager. Since December 2016, she is working as Innovation Director at Farplas Company, responsible from strategy, innovation and R&D. Industrial R&D Management, technology management, and Open Innovation Management are among her specialty areas. İyigün Meydanlı was a team member of Turkish National Vision 2023 Foresight Project, Machine–Materials sub-group (2003-2004). She is the author of more than 15 papers, including a book chapter on knowledge management in Turkish.
