Amendments made in the General Assembly held on March 21, 2009

• Article 4 is amended as follows:

  Article 4: SUSPENSION OF MEMBERSHIP

  If a MÜDEK member becomes President, Vice President, Advisor to the President, Dean or Associate Dean in a university, or if a person in one of these positions becomes a member of MÜDEK, his/her MÜDEK membership shall be automatically suspended throughout the period of such positions in order to prevent any conflict of interests. Any person whose membership is suspended may not exercise any membership rights under MÜDEK, cannot serve at MÜDEK boards and does not pay annual membership fee.

  Article 4: INACTIVATION OF MEMBERSHIP

  If a MÜDEK member becomes President, Vice President or Advisor to the President in a university or Dean or Associate Dean in a Faculty conducting engineering programs, or if a person in one of these positions becomes a member of MÜDEK, his/her MÜDEK membership shall be automatically inactivated throughout the period of such positions in order to prevent any conflict of interests. Any person whose membership is inactivated may not exercise any membership rights under MÜDEK, cannot serve at MÜDEK boards, and does not pay annual membership fee.
