NATIONAL RECOGNITION

The application of MÜDEK made on October 31, 2007 to Higher Education Council (YÖK) was accepted by the General Assembly of YÖK on November 16, 2007; and according to the article 7/e of the related regulation, it was decided to recognize MÜDEK as the national quality assurance agency specializing on the national, sectoral, and program specific competency of engineering programs at higher education institutions and to issue Quality Evaluation Certificate to MÜDEK valid for a period of five years. INTERNATIONAL MEMBERSHIP AND AUTHORIZATION

MÜDEK has been a full member of European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) since November 17, 2006. Click here for the official notification of ENAEE.

MÜDEK is authorized by ENAEE to award EUR-ACE Label by the decision made by ENAEE Administrative Council on January 21, 2009. MÜDEK became the 7th accreditation agency with such an authorization. The terms of this authorization are given below.

• Valid for full period (5 years).
• Valid for the accreditation of undergraduate (FC - first cycle) programs.
• Valid for programs that will be accredited by MÜDEK after January 21, 2009.

MÜDEK became a Signatory of Washington Accord of the IEA (International Engineering Alliance) on June 15, 2011. Click here for the official notification of IEA.
